Bio
Photography is my passion and my profession.
With over 25 years of creative experience I laid the foundations for my career, graduating in Applied Photography from Griffith University's renowned Queensland College of Art. As a staff photojournalist for The Australian Newspaper for 20 years, my unique editorial journey saw me share the stage with royalty, political figures, sporting heroes and everyday Australians.
With this depth of experience, and a multi award winning body of work including 14 international and national photographic awards including the coveted Walkley Award and the worldwide publishing project Moments of Intimacy Laughter & Kinship (MILK), I can deliver images on location and in the studio environment with a relaxed but professional approach, whilst capturing images to a tight deadline. Editorial and corporate assignments are treated with the same dedicated approach with an understanding of the subject and the clients specific needs. I contribute images to Australian and International newspapers, news wire services and commercial clients.
